Redwoods National Park

The northern California coast is home to 95% of the world's remaining old-growth Redwood trees. Designated a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve in the 1980s, the National Park Service and California State Parks co-manage four areas which protect more than 105,000 acres.
