Grab your coffee & a comfy seat and get settled in to my blog!
I’m currently sitting on my sofa, with a half cup of cold joe and 25 years behind me, pondering on whether I’m going through a quarter-life crisis or not. I ask myself every single day what I’m doing with my life. I have countless hours of higher education under my belt yet somehow I’m still plummeting in the world of adulthood. I try and reflect on what I like to do, what my interests are, and I can honestly come up with a bigger list of things I dislike (public places, meat, close-minded people).
I am opinionated, stubborn, and persistent with a positive outlook on life. I truly do want this world to be a better place for future generations and I strive for humanity to come together to aid those less fortunate than us. I want to make a living while never seeing the inside of an office. I want my voice to be heard, my knowledge to be spread and sowed like seeds and then watch my ideas grow into something that will be talked about even after I’m gone. All of these factors brought me to blogging.
I’m from a teeny tiny blip on the map in northeastern Indiana; a town that is forgotten by those who pass through it on their way to bigger cities. I always knew I wanted out of that place, I wanted bigger things so I now currently reside in Germany with my husband. We will be moving to California by Thanksgiving and I plan to begin spending my days doing more self-good than just keeping house, planning dinners, and bingeing on Netflix.
There is one hobby that I 100% live for: traveling. My husband and I have seen 20 countries in our 3 short years here in Europe and living only 30 minutes from Napa Valley and 2 hours from Yellowstone will allow us to continue that.
Needless to say, life is changing very rapidly. Moving across the world is hard enough, but trying to do some self-reflection to find yourself and your future is even tougher.
Let’s hope this new blogging journey will bring some light to my life.
