I have a tad of an obsession with anything sweet and this fruit pizza hits the mark every time! The great thing about this recipe is that it can be made in a variety of ways. I always use Pillsbury sugar cookies for the crust and ice it with vanilla frosting to create more of a dessert.
If you prefer it to be a tad lighter/healthier, substitute the icing for vanilla yogurt or cool whip. But, let’s be honest, you just can’t get rid of that cookie crust!
The fruit pizza recipe gives you the opportunity to choose whichever fruits are your favorite and you can decorate the pizza in a number of ways.

Crust Making
After preheating the oven to 350° Fahrenheit (175° C), begin combining all of the individual pieces of cookie dough. Squeeze 2 or 3 pieces together and then smash them into a ball. Once there is a ball of dough from each package, combine them into one. Be careful to not let the dough thaw out too long or it will become sticky and difficult to roll into a ball with your hands. If this happens, simply cover your fingers in flour.
Spray your round baking sheet with Pam cooking spray.
Place the large dough ball on top of the cookie sheet and, using your fingers, spread the cookie dough outwards. It is easier to start at the middle and push away.
Create a raised crust on the outside of the dough. Ensure that there is at least a ½-inch of space between the side of the pan and the crust so it has room to grow.
Bake the crust at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes. A chewy crust should bake for 12 minutes and a crunchier crust should bake for 15 minutes.
Poke the crust in the center with a toothpick to ensure that it is cooked all the way through. Once it is done baking, refrigerate the crust for 1 hour.
Once the crust has cooled, it’s time to frost it. As stated, I used vanilla icing for this but other healthier substitutions include yogurt and cool whip.
Time to Decorate!
Always start from the outside first. For this recipe, begin with the grapes and blueberries and alternate them around the crust.
Next is the kiwis and orange…
…then the strawberries and bananas.
Putting fruits in the same row that complement each other taste the best. At this point, begin layering grapes and blueberries, kiwis and oranges, etc., to keep consistency. The fruit pizza will transform into a masterpiece!
Using a pizza cutter to slice a piece from the fruit pie and enjoy! Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate to keep freshness.
