After years and years of dinners and movies, I’m ready to discover a new, unique type of date night. For this Valentine’s Day, my husband and I decided that we’re going beyond the norm. Instead of an expensive dinner by candlelight, we’re opting for a picnic with nature and a sunset. We put our date to the test this weekend and, after getting fancied up with my new Jord watch, we wandered up into the mountains and stumbled upon the ideal spot for our date.

For me to have an amazing date night, I have to feel good about myself to enjoy myself. Finding that perfect outfit to keep my confidence boosting all night is so important. Wandering into the Mountains
Now that I’ve put together an outfit with my pristine Jord watch accessory, it’s time to adventure! With a blanket and my picnic basket full of fruits, cheese, and wine in tow, we head up into the hills on a trail in search for the perfect spot with some breathtaking scenery.

Picnic Time!
On the edge of the hill with the surrounding mountains in view, we discover the perfect spot for our date night. Unpacking all of my picnic basket goodies is essential before diving in.

…and fill up on one too many grapes.
But my favorite part of our date is us.
Whether you’re stuck on the couch with the kiddos or having a pancake breakfast in the corner diner, the finest part of your Valentine’s Day is the date that you’re with.
My husband and I laughed until we cried, played with our food like children, sipped warm wine intended to be chilled, basked in our view side by side and ultimately, relished in each other’s company.
Because that’s what Valentine’s Day is all about.
